Coco Mama’s Melt-in-Your-Mouth Coconut Ladoo Delight

There’s a moment every Indian home knows well, that sudden craving for something sweet, something quick, and something that reminds you of home. But with today’s busy routines, who has the time to grate coconuts, blend them to get thick cream, and stand by the stove for hours like our moms or grandmas once did?

That’s where Coco Mama steps in. When you open the kitchen cabinet and find Coco Mama’s coconut cream, making a fresh batch of warm coconut ladoos doesn’t feel like an effort anymore, even after a long day.

Coco Mama’s products are designed for moments like these, when you want the authenticity of home-style cooking without the long process. The coconut cream blends instantly, brings natural richness, and cuts down half the work you’d normally do. No grating. No long stirring. No complicated steps.

Just a few ingredients, a few minutes, and you get that same nostalgic sweetness you grew up with.

Ingredients:

  • Desiccated coconut – 2 cups
  • Coco Mama’s coconut cream – 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar or jaggery (or as per taste) – 100 g
  • Dry fruits: almonds, raisins, etc (optional)

Method:

Step 1: Heat and Roast

Heat a non-stick pan on low to medium flame. Now, add 2 cups of desiccated coconut and dry-roast for 1-2 minutes.

Step 2: Add Coconut Cream

Pour in 1 cup of Coco Mama’s coconut cream and sugar/jaggery. Mix well to combine everything evenly.

Step 3: Add Flavour

Add 1/2 tsp cardamom powder. Stir for 5-7 minutes on low heat until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.

Step 4: Cool Slightly

Once it reaches a soft dough-like consistency, switch off the flame and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Shape the Ladoos

If you like dry fruits, finely chop them and mix them into the warm mixture. Once combined, shape it into small balls.

Step 6: Final Coating

Roll each ladoo in the desiccated coconut for a neat finish.

There’s a little joy in every ladoo you make, and with Coco Mama’s delicious coconut cream, it doubles. Our favourite part is rolling the ladoo in the desiccated coconut, which looks like snowflakes. And when you bite into it, the sweetness, the creaminess, and the hint of cardamom come together so perfectly that it lets you crave for more.

It’s a simple one, but it turns you into a child every time you take a bite. You only require a few minutes, and it’s done. So, just go make it and tell us how Coco Mama made your cooking easier and delicious, because that’s exactly what we’re here for.
